Did you know? 

The Essential English Centre is the first and only Quality English school in Manchester. Owners Bairbre and Jo founded the school in 2012, with the vision of offering a high quality, yet personalised and boutique-style experience for all of its students and partners.  We have been members of Quality English since 2015, and we are proud to be part of such a prestigious group of schools all around the world.

Quality English missions

Being QE members has allowed us to enter into existing as well as new and exciting markets on their annual missions.   During 2024, owner Bairbre travelled to Bangkok and Ho Chi Minh City, while Operations Manager Catherine met with partners in Barcelona in November.  

Quality Assurance Inspections

As our partner agents, you can be assured that Quality English carry out thorough and detailed inspections of all of its member schools.  Our most recent Quality English inspection was carried out in November 2024 by Quality English co-founder Carolyn Blackmore, resulting in the following summary: 

Students who study at The Essential English Centre in Manchester are very fortunate to have chosen this school. Satisfied students comment on the whole experience (the staff are so helpful, there’s a nice atmosphere) and agents agree as they praise the school’s quality of education, the competence of the teachers and the students’ overall experience.
