Playing pool is a great way to relax after class and for Essential English students – it is free!

Playing pool is a regular event in our social programme calendar as it is a great way to meet new people, to practise speaking in English and to relax after class!

The Essential English Centre is in the city centre of Manchester and there are many activities within easy walking distance of our school. The pool hall is just 5 minutes on foot from The EEC and so after class we get together and arrange to play against each other. The great thing about pool is that anyone can play and it is an easy game to learn if you have never played before.
